The "Meeting"

Myself, and many of your neighbors encourage you to attend our Information Meeting on Tuesday,March 10th at Fire House 1 on Forums Dr. (behind the main Post Office).

The Meeting will start at 730pm. Please get there early to register and get a good seat.

For those who attend, we are looking for a few representatives from Neighborhoods along Morriss Rd, to distribute out petition and information about our email campaign and our planned attendance at the April Town Council Meeting. We have several neighborhoods covered already and thank those volunteers for their help.

We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday.

  1. Will you invite Traffic Engineers? Or is it to much to ask that this be looked at in a objective way?

  2. There are so many issues here.
We must consider safety of our children first. Those of us with kids in Forestwood Middle School should all be very concerned. Especially those of us with kids that walk to and from school. Do we really want them walking on the side of a road like 2499?

Also, can any traffic study be true to fact when we have so much construction still ongoing on 2499. I know that much of that traffic is on Morris. Will it still be there when construction is finished?

Money spent already on "Beautification". Wasteful.

Noise to all neighborhoods. I certainly DON'T want a large obtrusive and ugly sound barrier wall up against my front and/or back door.

    Property value........

  3. I am running for City Council in May and am opposed to turning Morriss Rd. into a six lane thoroughfare. I will be at the meeting tonight.

  4. No Morriss Rd will not be like 2499. Most likely your kids will be out of high school before it is built.

Wow, that's a great argument. My kids will out of school by the time it's built, so it will be another kids problem. I'm just curious if you will you be attending the meetings? I'm sure everyone would love to hear your ideas which could potentially solve a lot of the world's problems. Like pollution, global warming, etc. Hey it's somebody else's problem right?
